We've finally been given the opportunity to rescue cats from a devastating hoarding situation. Because this is an active investigation, we cannot share all of the details. What we can share is that dozens of cats have been living in unimaginable conditions, without the care, safety, or medical attention they desperately needed. Our team is working alongside the City to bring every cat to safety, but this rescue is only just beginning.
They Need Immediate Medical Care
The first cats we've rescued are already showing us just how urgent this situation is. We have sick kittens requiring veterinary treatment and medication, an elderly Siamese with a severely damaged eye and injured foot, dehydrated cats, and others suffering from neglect, fear, and stress. Every cat will need medical evaluations, vaccinations, food, supplies, and weeks—if not months—of rehabilitation before they are ready for a new life.
